After completing my Culinary Arts degree, I realized my culinary point of view had greatly expanded. When asked what type of food I specialize in, I would say "Soul Food (of course), but a healthier version of classics with newly created, cleaner dishes that deliver great flavors with less fat". My cooking is now very diverse and influenced by many cultural flavors and techniques. This blog will follow my exploration of all Soul Food, both traditional and non-traditional.
